- Tomb Raider Franchise
Writing an article about the sexiest games of all time and not including Lara Croft is like making a ham and cheese sandwich but leaving out the cheese and bread: it’s not even close to being complete!
Lara Croft was where it all started, lads and lasses, that’s right. The sexy queen of exploring caves (behave) was what instigated the relationship between sex and video games. Each new addition to the popular franchise has Lara looking more and more lifelike. Okay, so if you go back to the original game now, it’s hard to get past that her boobs are perfectly triangular, but boy oh boy, you should have been there in 1996 brother. Those boob triangles were rocking our collective worlds!
The 2013 addition to the franchise acts as the pinnacle of success and beauty for Lara. The game was a total success as it rebooted the series and touched on Lara’s origins, and as always, she is portrayed just how she should be, a complete babe and a total badass.
- Catherine (2012)
First released in Japan in 2011, and then a year later for the rest of the world, Catherine is an obscure, adult-orientated horror, romance and puzzle adventure game from Atlus. The curious game was created by the same team responsible for Persona 3.
Players take on the role of Vincent, who is dealing with his girlfriend Katherine after an affair with a girl named Catherine. Following the affair, Vincent has nightmares, which introduce the puzzle and logic aspect of the game. He must push and pull blocks to create a path that leads out of the nightmares. The graphics take on an eroticised anime style, and the enticing story and themes of relationships and infidelity make this a hot mess of a game that screams sexiness.
- Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag (2013)
The historical action-adventure game was developed by Ubisoft and released in 2013. Set in the early 18th century, during the Golden Age of Piracy, players take on the role of the notorious pirate Edward Kenway, as he swashbuckles his way through the open world.
There are pirates, knights, brothels, women, nudity, booze and Anne Bonney, the gorgeous pirate lass. With all of those ingredients, it’s hard to imagine the result being anything other than a downright sexy game.
- Grand Theft Auto V (2013)
The strip joint…need I say more? Okay, I’ll say a little more.
Grand Theft Auto V set the standard for open-world travelling, and the fifth game in one of the most popular and lucrative franchises in all of entertainment, never mind just gaming, only opened the door of grit, grime and sleaze even wider. With strippers, brothels open for business, bikini-clad chicks and many opportunities to ‘make it rain’, GTA 5 really blew the lid off the competition when it was released, as it became the fastest selling entertainment product (!) in history.
It earned a staggering $800 million on its first day of release, with nothing else even coming close, and shipped 12 million copies in the first 24 hours of availability. Not only that, the game made its first cool billion in its first three days, and by the end of the year, the game topped many Game of the Year publications, and it’s easy to see why.
Apart from everything else, you can go to a strip joint, get a private lap dance, and then take the stripper home with you. It’s sexy, gritty and debauched personified!
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011)
You think Game of Thrones has the most fantasy t ‘n’ a in it? Well guess again buddy. In our technologically advanced world, Skyrim helped set the bar for what videogames are capable of, in both graphics and game-play.
Released in 2011, Skyrim was met with critical acclaim due to its extensive world, gorgeous graphics and refined character development system. The characters are attractive, powerful, and look amazing. These days, players can install stunningly realistic mods, including ‘adult-only’ mods that offer fully nude modals for both male and female characters.
There’s also a prostitution mod that lets you have sex with NPCs. Some devoted fans of the game believe the novelty mods dilute the game’s severe, dark overtones, but many others just can’t help but ogle that skimpy battle amour.
