The official teaser trailer for Car Share series two has landed and it offers a very special and exclusive event for fans to get involved with.
After the Christmas special in December and Peter Kay’s interview with Johnnie Walker, fans have been pining for the series two trailer to be released, and now it finally has. The series will air in April 2017 and feature four episodes.
It’s Gone Viral have been working closely with Peter Kay and Paul Coleman to bring you the trailer exclusively before any other news outlet
Sian Gibson reprises her role as Kayleigh, with Peter Kay returning as John Redmond. The Car Share team have been spotted on location throughout the past year, filming scenes all over the North West.
The brilliant trailer opens to X Factor style flying 3D text, followed by a rather anti-climatic clip of each character which oozes Kay’s subtle humour, poking fun at shows which overhype their content. This is added to when viewers are shown an image of a super car, but are then taken back down to Earth to be presented with the trusty Fiat 500L.
To the tune of Walking on Sunshine, the pair attempt to gracefully navigate their way into the workplace before Kayleigh spits on John’s trousers.
“John, You’ve got mud all over your pants, come here,” Kayleigh shrieks, before a startled John responds “Well I’ve got spit on them now haven’t I?”
The exchange could be a sign that the two are now in a relationship, with similar acts performed by loved ones to ensure their significant other doesn’t look unclean. Kay is well known for his observational comedy and this could be a teaser for fans to speculate over.
Walking off, John shouts “Leave it, I’ll get it off in the bogs. Animal!”, whilst Kayleigh folds up the dirty tissue she used to aid.
Fans are then treated to an exclusive offer, which will see the first two episodes of Car Share series 2 being aired for one night only at 250 VUE cinemas across Britain – with all profits in aid of Comic Relief.
The evening will not only bring fans the first two episodes, it will also contain brand new never-before-seen footage as well as the series’ outtakes.
It doesn’t stop there though as fans will also be treated to a very exclusive Q&A with Peter Kay and Sian Gibson, where YOU get to ask the questions.
Comic Relief presents Car Share Series 2 will take place on Friday, March 31st 2017. Fans can find their local picture house and purchase tickets for the one-off event at myvue.com.
