Performing act DNA managed to blow Britain’s Got Talent viewers’ minds with another hypnotising performance in the ITV shows semi-final.

Duo Andrew, 43, and Darren, 29, wowed the audience and left the judges open mouthed with their incredible live feat. The contestants claimed that they were using powers of persuasion, rather than prediction, as they correctly guessed three cards and a word on a random page of the dictionary.

However, music mogul and creator of the show, Simon Cowell was left baffled before the big reveal even took place – as he struggled to find the correct page.

David Walliams had been asked to think of a word before writing it on a signed sheet of paper. The rest of the judges then had to pick a random card from the deck, which were all guessed correctly by the duo.

The pair also produced their own deck, which had each of the judges’ names on the corresponding card. They then asked Simon to go to page 1,414, look at the right hand column and choose the 11th word down in bold.

But Simon struggled to get their on his own, requiring Amanda Holden’s help to find it, and taking up DNA’s time on stage. The record label owner said: “Yeah we’re trying to find it. Just give me a minute. Ok we’re getting there.”

Eventually he revealed the word was “probably”, which amazingly turned out to be the same as on David’s paper.

After the act Alesha Dixon said: “I don’t know how you do it, it doesn’t matter. What I do know is you’re brilliant.

“Your stage presence is hypnotising and I think you guys are brilliant.”

Amanda Holden commented: “You could literally cut the atmosphere with a knife in here. You are so engaging. I cant take my eyes off you. I don’t know how you did it.”

David cheekily added: “What for me was truly magical is you got Simon Cowell to read a book for the first time in his life.”

Simon was then given the opportunity to justify his actions.

He said: “Even with glasses this is the smallest numbers I’ve ever seen in my life. How the bl**dy hell did you do that. I have no idea what just happened there. That was honestly incredible.”
