A football fan in South America has passed away after being thrown over the railings by, reportedly, the same man responsible for the death of his own brother five years previous – according to Marca.
Atletico Belgrano fan Emanuel Ezequiel Balbo, 22, was caught on camera being thrown over the railings from the upper tier of a stand during a game against rivals Talleres, before finally sadly losing his life due to injuries suffered the following day.
His father, Raul Balbo, has claimed that one of the people involved in the attack, Oscar ‘Sapito’ Gomez, had previously killed another of his sons five years ago, who was aged just 14 at the time.
“He killed one of my sons and wanted to take another from me,” he told Cadena 3. “Five years ago, he killed my son and when Emanuel was in the stand, he ran into one of the killers.
“Oscar Gomez is a coward and he can’t defend himself and told those around him to join in the fighting by saying that Emanuel was a Talleres fan.
“He was in a car with a friend before and killed my son.”
Four people are believed to have been arrested in connection with the death of 22-year-old Emanuel.
