Kim Kardashian has been criticised for a personal tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack, that has left 22 people dead and at least 59 others suffering different levels of injury – some with life-changing wounds.

The US reality star, who is married to Kanye West, took to social media to share her thoughts on the situation and initially struck the right chord with a tweet saying: “I can’t imagine the fear and agony these parents must be going through searching for their kids.”

However, she followed that up four hours later with another, which left many of her followers shocked to the core.

The mother-of-two, who is known for her attention-courting ways, posted a picture of herself with Ariana Grande, who narrowly escaped Monday night’s blast at the Manchester Arena, where she’d just finished performing.

“Concerts are supposed to be a place where u can let loose & have fun. So scary to not feel safe in this world. @arianagrande I love you,” wrote the star next to the photo.

Whilst the sentiment was above board, many of her fans were unsure why she’d picked an image that made her the centre of attention, with Ariana way over to the left of the snap and not posing in a particularly flattering angle.

Kim, of course, looked great, with the light hitting her cheekbones at a lovely angle.

Unsurprisingly, Kim has since deleted the tweet – but not before her fans gave her a piece of their mind over it.

“We’re never going to forget when you posted an inappropriate pic and made the Manchesterbombing all about you. (Screenshots are forever,)” said one of her followers.

“Wow! That’s a new low,” wrote another.

“Did she honesty do that?!” posted a third.

It has been confirmed that Ariana has arrived back in the States with her mum Joan Grande, nearly 24 hours after the terror attack.

She was met at Boca Raton airport in Florida by her boyfriend Mac Miller, who gave her a tender kiss after she descended from the plane.
