Users of Kodi this morning are waking up to the website kodi.tv being shut down and with the following holding message:
It’s been widely reported that the use of Kodi is being clamped down on by authorities and that this could finally be the last straw.
However some people are not convinced and believe that it’s either an April Fool’s day prank by the company themselves or by hackers.
On Twitter, Kodi reassured users:
We are looking into it. Nobody panic

They also replied to someone who demanded money back:
We will be sure to issue refunds to everyone who bought their "fully loaded" hardware from us. It only seems fair. https://t.co/o8BrRWAnVb
