Dani Pacheco

Pacheco signed for Liverpool from Barcelona in the summer of 2007 and initially played for Liverpool reserves.

The attacking midfielder made his first start for the Liverpool reserves on 5 February 2008, against Bolton Wanderers. Pacheco made his first team debut on 9 December 2009 as a second-half substitute for Alberto Aquilani in a Champions League match against Fiorentina.

Failing to break into the first team on a permanent basis, partly due to the Anfield clubs strong midfield contingent at the time, Pacheco found himself the subject of a host of loans moves, including one which saw him loaned to Atlético Madrid, who immediately sub-loaned him to Rayo Vallecano.

Although he’d signed a contract extension previously – keeping him at the club until 2014, Pacheco left Liverpool in 2013 after four years and signed for Alcorcón. One year later he joined Betis and has been the subject of two more loan moves.

Pacheco currently resides in Getafe, performing for the Cities club of the same name, who play in the Spanish second division, on loan from Betis.

Scouted by English club Liverpool as a teenager, he made his professional debut there in 2012, playing sparingly.

On 25 February 2013, after being shut-out of the first team due to the signings of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, Suso put in a performance for the under-21 team against Manchester United. His performance was not good and he acknowledged that on his Twitter account, he tweeted “Sorry about tonight.. I was having some stomach problems during all game but i [sic] didn’t want to come off of the game… Again sorry!”

In 2015 he left Liverpool after failing to knuckle down a first team place and joined AC Milan where he has flourished and remains to this day.
