Although in fairness, he wasn’t exactly caught was he? It’s not exactly like they were trying to hide it.

The footage of Shaun Edmondson straddled by the mystery blonde in front of horrified passengers on a Ryanair flight quickly went viral. But as soon as it did, it was revealed that the man had a heavily pregnant fiancée at home.

Onlookers assumed the pair were just a boozed-up couple, but according to the Sun, Shaun was on a stag do with pals when his antics shocked onlookers.

Passengers described how the woman took her pants off before Shaun asked: “Anyone got any jelly? [condom],” and they began romping at 32,000 feet right in front of everybody else.

The sous chegf, whose family own posh restaurants, faced one hell of a grilling from fiancée Jenna Ross, 25, when he returned from the party Island of Ibiza.

A friend said: “He is known as a bit of a ladies’ man. That’s just a random woman he’s with, they didn’t know each other before the day.

“Shaun and Jenna are due to marry soon but that clearly won’t stop him.

“He doesn’t seem to be too bothered he has left his six-months pregnant wife-to-be at home while he cavorts with random strangers.

“I wouldn’t like to be him when she finds out.”

Camera phone footage, which was shot by fellow passengers, shows the mystery blonde, who was believed to be on a hen do, sitting on Shaun’s lap and gyrating.

Some fellow passengers can be seen laughing at the unashamed display, which took place on a flight from Manchester.

Shaun, of Windermere, Cumbria, works as a sous chef at posh Lyth Valley Country Inn in nearby Kendal, which is owned by his family.

Pals say Shaun’s fiancée, who was born in Canada and has been with Shaun for six years, is aware of the footage and is irate at his behaviour.

His stepdad Graham Oliver, 52, said: “I’ve seen the video but I haven’t spoken to Shaun about it yet.

“I haven’t a clue whether he’s in trouble over it or not.”

Describing the scene, fellow passenger Kieran Williams, 21, from Preston, Lancashire, previously said: “I heard them talking about it but I thought they were joking. The guy was shouting, ‘Anyone got a jelly?’

“We all laughed but then ten minutes later they actually did it. They seemed so drunk, they brought a lot of attention to themselves.

“You could see the girl taking off her pants and he pulled his trousers off. She started riding him.

“I had to get my phone out. I have never seen anything like that.”

A female passenger, who was sitting next to the pair, asked to be moved as she was so uncomfortable with their behaviour.

But Mr Williams claimed the crew did not intervene to stop or even reprimand them.

He said: “A woman was sat next to them and she stood up and asked if she could be moved.

“About twenty minutes after it happened, someone complained about it. But the crew did nothing.

“They were starting and stopping but it was completely obvious what was going on. We all had a good laugh about it. It was pretty funny.”

After the footage went viral, Ryanair said: “We are looking into this matter.

“We will not tolerate unruly, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour at any time and any passengers who appear to behave in an unacceptable manner may be liable for further sanctions.”
