In the sunrise addition of Sky News this morning, The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus was dragged from the set by his chair in a segment about the popular AMC show. I laughed and laughed and laughed…and laughed.

The 48-year old actor, who plays hard-nosed badass Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead, was joined by The Walking Dead’s executive producer Greg Nicotero when they found themselves being wheeled off of the set in a disastrous gaffe.

They were abruptly pulled away by the tops of their swivel-chairs during one of the short ad-breaks to stop them from blocking the weather screen, and Norman Reedus definitely saw the funny side. Any words describing the incident do his reaction no justice. See for yourself in the video below.

Joined by co-presenter Tom Macleod, Isabel Webster said: “We could talk all day, it’s so interesting to talk to both of you.

“Norman Reedus, Greg Nicotero, thanks so much for coming in so early as well, I really appreciate it. Lot’s more for you still to come after this short break.”

Running from the back of the set, the floor manager grabbed the backs of both the seats and quickly wheeled the pair backwards out of the shot.

Weather presenter Nazaneen Ghaffar couldn’t help but laugh as Reedus, at first a touch confused, exited with a dignified and joyous salute.

Waving back at the TV star, Nazaneen quickly regained her composure before introducing the weather: “Good morning, it’s a bit of a wet start out there this morning.”

After being posted online, the clip was met with instant hysterics from fans on social media:

One viewer tweeted: “Norman Reedus getting dragged of Sky News has me crying.”

“I love how the weather girl just waves at him like he’s 3. Norman your face! Priceless, LMAO,” posted another.

A third joked: “Previously, on AMC’s The Walking Dead (insert above clip). Hahaha! Well that was unexpected. Way to make an exit!”

“Where the ‘Walking Dead’ become the ‘Rolling Dead’! So THAT’S why the floor is laminated?” questioned another excited fan.
