The Office is a British mockumentary sitcom first broadcast on UK TV screens in 2001. The programme is about the day-to-day lives of office employees in the Slough branch of the fictitious Wernham Hogg Paper Company.
Ricky Gervais stars in the series, playing the central character, David Brent alongside Mackenzie Crook, Martin Freeman and many more.
With the show concluding in 2003, it’s been more than thirteen years since the employees of Wernham Hogg appeared on our screens – excluding Brent, who appeared in his own spin-off movie in 2016.

Ricky Gervais – David Brent
Since creating and starring in The Office, Ricky Gervais has continued his media work and stand-up comedy routines.
Gervais has created and appeared in a number of other television shows including Derek, An Idiot Abroad, Extras and The Ricky Gervais Show. He has also completed a number of stand-up comedy tours and hosted the Golden Globe Awards on two occasions.
The comedy actor is a big personality on social media site Twitter, with more than 12 million followers. In 2016, Gervais reprised the role of David Brent for a movie titled: David Brent: Life on the Road.
Mackenzie Crook – Gareth Keenan
Mackenzie Crook made his name in The Office, but since then he’s gone on to establish himself in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, appearing in four of the five films.
Notable roles over the years include playing Orell in Game of Thrones, Rudy in Almost Human and Pete in Ordinary Lies. Crook has also worked behind the lens, creating and starring in Detectorists alongside Toby Jones.
The versatile actor is currently working on a number of projects including Watership Down, Brittania and both Dark Ascencion and Dark Ascencion II
