Piers Morgan clashes with co-presenter in awkward heated LIVE disagreement
Piers Morgan has once again caused controversy by clashing with his co-presenter on Good Morning Britain today.
The divisive host, who recently caused a stir on Twitter when he collided with Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling, interrupted Charlotte’s news report by defending Sutton FC’s former-reserve Goalkeeper, Wayne Shaw, who resigned from his position after being investigated over an incident related to betting. After he had butt in, Charlotte, 41, went on to finish her segment, before turning to Piers, 51, and blasting him: “Thanks very much. I was literally half way through talking about inappropriate social media content between teachers and pupils, but that’s ok, please get in touch about pie-gate,” she fumed.
Susanna Reid, 46, joined in: “We can’t keep Piers Morgan off Twitter, even when he’s on air.”
Turning to Charlotte, Piers gleefully announced: “I love it when you get angry.”
“I get used to you talking a lot,” Charlotte sighed. “But when I’m literally half way through a sentence…”
Piers hit back: “Let’s be honest, pie-gate is the biggest story of the day. It does’t matter what anybody else thinks.”
“But we are doing other stories and not everyone wants to hear about pie-gate,” Charlotte raged.
Later in the show, Piers joked: “I only interrupt you when you’re boring.”
