Contestant distraught after brother gives most obvious answer ever when it needed to be Pointless

A Pointless contestant today showed his feelings when his partner and brother gave the most obvious answer ever, when they desperately needed the answer to be very low or pointless.

Fitness-mad Kevin appeared alongside his brother, David for the second time, after being knocked out the previous day.

Players who do not make it into the final round on their first attempt, are welcomed back to take another shot at taking home the jackpot.

Tuesday’s game was crucial for the pair and they were determined not to let Monday’s misfortune, where they both scored wrong answers, get the better of them a second time.

With that rationale in mind, David admitted that he wanted to “play it safe”, with an easy answer when asked to name any actor that had appeared in more than one James Bond film.

David opted for current Bond, Daniel Craig, however, Kevin was downbeat by his brother’s choice and in clear view of the cameras, he gave an expressive eye-roll before putting his hands over his face.

The pair needed a score of 17 or less to progress to the next round and choosing Daniel Craig was a sure fire way to be knocked out, but at least it wasn’t an incorrect answer.

Alexander Armstrong let his feelings be known of the answer. He quipped: “There’s staying safe and there’s Daniel Craig.”
