Prince William caused controversy with a cute Father’s Day post of himself pictured with Prince George – but not Princess Charlotte as Social Media calls him out for his royal gaffe.

Kensington Palace posted a cute picture collage on Father’s Day, including snaps of Prince Charles and Prince William and son Prince George to mark the special day.

Next to the pictures, Kensington Palace wrote: “Happy Father’s Day. Wishing all the fathers out there a very happy day.”

The first picture shows a young William posing with Prince Charles and younger brother Prince Harry while decked out in tweed clothing enjoying a day in the countryside.

In the second photo, Prince William is seen cradling little George in his arms while on the royal tour of Canada last September, however Charlotte is nowhere to be seen.

Social media users were quick to comment on the tribute and ask why there was no mention of William and Kate Middleton’s daughter, Princess Charlotte.

One user wrote: “Where’s a photo with Charlotte?”, while another said: “He has a daughter too!” Another questioned: “Fathers are not only boys father but also girls. Where is Charlotte?”

Meanwhile a fourth person asked: “Odd there’s only a picture with his son? Where’s his daughter?”

It comes after little Prince George melted hearts everywhere after being spotted looking very grumpy during the Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday 17 June.

Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their gorgeous children Charlotte and George along – in heartwarming matching outfits – to watch the epic parade.
