It has been revealed that former TV star Rolf Harris is to be released from Stafford prison tommorow after three years behind bars for sexual assault.

The 87 year-old is currently on trial at Southwark Crown Court. Judge Deborah Taylor stated that Harris will appear in court on bail for the remainder of the trial.

Harris was accused of sexually assualting three girls on multiple occasions during the 1970s and 1980s.

On one occasion, he was discovered to have touched a 13 year-old girls breast during a children’s TV show and inapproprtiately asked her “”Do you often get molested in a Saturday morning?”.

On a seperate occasion, he was also accused of groping a 16 year-old girl twice, telling her she was “a little bit irresistable”.

The judge told jurers: “He (Harris) will no longer be appearing in the court via videolink and he will be attending what remains of his trial in person next week.”

He denies four charges of sexually assualting girls during the period of the 1970s and 1980s.
