Shinji Okazaki has scored the first and second goals in Leicester City’s EFL Cup fixture against Chelsea.

Shinji Okazaki has broken the deadlock as Leicester City take the lead versus Chelsea, but fans were questioning whether the ball fully crossed the line.

At first it didn’t look like it had gone in, but the replay confirms it went fully over the line. Great goal!

Okazaki then followed that up with a SECOND Goal – and that also required Goal Line Technology.

Here’s the first Goal:

Here’s the Second Goal:

Leicester City won the English Premier League last season after going toe-to-toe with Tottenham Hotspur, before tonight’s rivals, Chelsea, ended Spurs’ challenge by drawing 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.

The Foxes are hoping to continue their triumph this season and are showing good signs of challenging for silverware by taking the lead versus Chelsea, in the only Premier League EFL Cup tie of the night.

Okazaki was hot favourite to leave during the Summer, with Arsenal is apparent destination, but the Japanese winger stayed loyal to the Champions and hopes his goal will help propel Leicester to the next round.

Leicester City travel to Old Trafford on saturday to face Manchester United, who are currently, at the time of publish, on a three game losing streak.

Manchester United manager, José Mourinho is on his worst losing-streak since 2002, when he lost three straight matches with Porto.

The Premier League Champions are hoping to take revenge – and all three points – on the Manchester United team that defeated them in the Community Shield fixture at Wembley, in August.
