In an interview with The Independent Jamie Vardy has revealed he uses chewing tobacco called snus which he uses during games.
“It’s just something I’ve always done and they’ve been checked with the medical team and there’s nothing wrong with them.”
The 29-year-old also admitted to drinking a can of Red Bull as a part of his morning routine.
“It’s just standard me, a bit of Red Bull. It’s a regular thing whereby I have a Red Bull every morning. It’s just something I felt I needed that day. I wouldn’t call it a diet, the Red Bull was just to wake me up in the morning.”
Vardy also told them he isn’t a fan of the gym revealing
“If I go in the gym it will slow me down. I don’t go in for weights or anything like that. Each and every person is different and this is my way, and I’m sure if someone else tried doing what I do then it probably wouldn’t work for them.”
And when asked about the last time he lifted a weight, Vardy replied: “probably that can of Red Bull the other day.”
It’s said that anti-doping authorities are currently monitoring the chewing tobacco stimulant but for now it’s still OK to use.
