Tom Hardy returned for a special Valentines Day CBeebies bedtime story with his dog, and the Internet lost its sh*t

CBeebies bosses must have had mums on the brain when choosing Tom Hardy to appear on the BBC Children’s channel – this Valentine’s Day.

After the success of his New Year’s Eve Bedtime Story, Tom Hardy was invited to help mum’s put children to bed, whilst ogling at his wonderful face.

CBeebies made the announcement on their Facebook page, with a teaser clip of the Taboo star and a dog, adding: “You’re not doing anything Tuesday night, right?”

In the clip, Tom is sitting on a balcony wearing a red coat, and he says: “Cloud spotting is definitely more enjoyable, especially if your best friend is a dog.

“And I’ve spotted you’re not in bed yet. Get yourself tucked up and I’ll see you very soon for another Bedtime Story.

“Night night!”

The clip has been shared more than 10 thousand times, with the number increasing by the hour.

Since appearing as Charles Bronson, Tom Hardy’s career has rocketed and made the English actor a Hollywood A-Lister. He has worked on some of the most successful movies of recent memory, with Inception and The Dark Knight Rises two of many. Hardy has also appeared in many TV shows, with Peaky Blinders and most recently Taboo being notable roles.

Earlier tonight the Cbeebies show aired and users took to social media to share their pleasure at seeing Mr Hardy, who is currently working on five projects including the eighth Star Wars episode, The Last Jedi, on their screens.

CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on CBeebies every day at 6.50pm.
