Stephen Mulhern

A magician by trade, Stephen Mulhern often brought aspects of that side of his work into CITV programmes Finger Tips (with Fearne Cotton), Ministry of Mayhem (with Holly Willoughby) and especially Tricky TV. He must have been pretty popular with ITV bosses, as the 40-year-old has gone on to front some of the channel’s biggest shows.

Simon Cowell has employed him for 10 years on Britain’s Got More Talent, whilst he previously presented Dancing On Ice‘s spin-off. More recently, Mulhern is the host of Big Star’s Little Star, the relaunched Catchphrase and can also be found on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Arthur Darvill

What?! THE Arthur Darvill of Doctor Who and Broadchurch fame?! You are not mistaken, but you would be forgiven for not recognising him, as back when he presented CITV’s continuity links for a year in 2000, he had a horrific hairdo and went by his first name Tom.

As aforementioned, 17 years on and he has appeared on our screens most notably as Amy Pond’s husband Rory Williams in Doctor Who, Reverend Paul Coates in Broadchurch as well as Rip Hunter in big US drama Legends of Tomorrow. Add in major theatre roles in Once and Treasure Island and Mr Darvill has done pretty well for himself.
